So…I’ve been putting away bits of money here and there for my upcoming trip to Las Vegas (first weekend of June, friend’s bachelor party) and I’ve already got a small list of what I want to get with the winnings I haven’t won yet…
• a tablet device; Android based (love that platform and as much as I love Apple/Mac…I never really liked the iPad.)
• a new bed and mattress (this is something that I really should’ve taken care of a long while ago now…kinda gettin’ tired of waking up with a sore lower back!)
and…possibly even higher on this small list of things I’d like to get…
• my first tattoo (I’ve always “kinda” wanted one, going back to my college years. However, it was always a matter of “what do I get?” and “where do I put it?” and “where will I get it done?”. For a while, I was convinced my first tattoo would be of my personal logo that I created for myself back in college…and that is something I still think I’ll get done at some point…, but I’ve made up my mind and decided that my first tattoo will be of an illustration from my favorite artist, Alphonse Mucha. I’ve even gone so far as to get it priced at one tattoo shop, but that was way back in November of 2009…or was it 2008?…still, it’s been a while! It’s going to be a black & gray piece that will be on the inside of my right forearm, from elbow to wrist…so it’s a fairly significant size, but I love the piece and it’ll look great once I get it! That is, of course, as long as I can find the right artist to do it!)
So yeah…not a bad list, right? Still…I gotta actually win enough in the first place…
